The Nebraska High School Strength Program of the Year was established to help identify and Highlight programs in the state that exemplify characteristics of a great high school strength program; Safety, Quality and Efficacy.

Biggest Change in Past Year:  We made a big change in what we did for kids that could not get into strength class during the day.  Our structure for our morning program is better than it has ever been. After a few years we feel like we have finally found a process and a system that is working for us.

Programs that are eligible for the award are nominated either through the online nomination form or by the Nebraska High School Strength Clinic.

There are two divisions for the Nebraska High School Strength Program of the Year.
Divisions are based off of the NSAA School Classifications for the Boys Fall Sports for the Year Prior to the award being given. All female Schools will be based off of their fall classification respectively.

Division I: Classes A and B

Division 2: Classes C and D

Winners will be asked to present on a specific quality shown in their program during the Nebraska High School Strength Clinic. They will receive a banner to be displayed in their schools weight room, free registration for their school to attend the clinic as well as a hotel accomodations.

To nominate your school’s Strength Program please fill out this nomination form. 

All schools nominated will have an email sent to their Strength Coach as well as Athletic Director for additional information.

Of the School nominated 3 from each division will be selected as finalist. A complete evaluation of the finalists will be done by the Nebraska High School Strength Clinic President Rob Brokaw. This will either be done in person through a site visit or via online platform.
